Nyxol™ Eye Drops

Ocularis has identified the primary cause of poor night vision in millions of individuals - pupils that are too large in dim light conditions. Large pupils allow too much extraneous light to enter the eye through optical imperfections in the periphery of the cornea (known as higher order aberrations). This exaggerated response (too large pupil) to dim light conditions is due to heredity and exists in about 50% of the population.

NIGHT VISION with
Nyxol™ Eye Drops from Ocularis

To address the problem of large pupils in dim light conditions, Ocularis has identified and patented the use of an entire class of molecules that have been demonstrated to reduce pupil size in these conditions. Our lead drug candidate, Nyxol™ eye drops, has been shown to be safe and effective in reducing pupil size in a Phase 1 clinical study. Furthermore, Ocularis has successfully tested the drug in a Phase 2 clinical study. In this study, Ocularis demonstrated statistically and clinically significant improvement in dim-light vision in individuals with poor night vision. At this time, Ocularis owns four issued U.S. patents, with four other patents pending domestically and internationally for this product line.
